TOUR LEADERS - Driver/ Guide
Ecotourism Australia

Being a driver / guide is often mistaken for being an easy task.  These guys and girls dedicate themselves to providing their passengers with a memorable trip within Australia.  The expectations on these people is often very high, and we think our guides are second to none.  They''''re  responsible for the safety and success of each tour. Whilst on tour guides can be anything from guide, driver, chef, medical officer, counsellor, mechanic, entertainer, historian, geographer and safety officer.  Not everyone is able to be a genius in all areas, but we pride ourselves on the high level of our team.  This page is for the frontline of Travelabout,  THE GUIDES

Welcome to westernXposure - Adventure Tour Company
Ecotourism Australia

As this site is new we are still organising photos and profiles for all the staff.  In the meantime we will have a little bit of fun.  For those staff members without photos available yet, we have substituted our mascot''''s photo.  In most cases this is a rather good likeness !

Glen Stewart - Driver/ Guide/ Trainer/ Mechanic/ Prospector
Ecotourism Australia

Glen is our most senior guide.  He has been a dedicated tour leader for Travelabout for a number of years.  His skills are countless and his ability to charm his passengers is second to none.  He has an enormous amount of energy that becomes infectious on his tours.  You are in safe hands and assured to have a great time travelling with Glen.

Chris Stone - Storeman and Morale Booster
Ecotourism Australia

Chrisso runs the stores and is responsible for all the camping equipment and foodboxes.  Originally a farmer from Quairading in the wheatbelt, his enthusiasm and good humour keep us all going.

Chicken - Mascot
Ecotourism Australia

Chicken joined us this season and has been running up and down the the west coast. He came to us a little deflated but is always able to handle himself in a tight situation.  It''s been hard work and he''s decided to head home.  This photo was our last sighting of Chicken.  He will be missed.

Nick Stone - Operations Manager
Ecotourism Australia

This man is our operations manager...........so we cannot show you his face!

Bob Hollis - Manager - Groups and Charters
Ecotourism Australia

If Bob was a brick he would be deep down in the foundations of Travelabout. He has been here longer than time itself.  Bob is our Manager for the Charter division.  His ability to design a tour that will fulfill your needs is amazing.  He will satisfy your expectations and more.  His knowledge on Western Australia and the Northern Territory is second to none.  His time spent in the tourism industry has seen him cover almost every inch of this fine land, so his recommendations come first hand thus making him perfect for the job.

Tim Collins - The Boss
Ecotourism Australia

After seven years working in the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong, Tim decided to get in to the tourism industry so that he could work outdoors.  He has since been tied to a desk trying to keep abreast of all that is happening around him and is slowly going mad.
