Kalbarri
Kalbarri is a coastal town centrally located between Perth and Monkey Mia (590 km north of Perth) and has become a very popular holiday destination for local West Australians. It is a great base for those interested in a little adventure with its rugged coastline and its proximity to the majestic Murchison Gorge. Highlights of the Murchison Gorge include Natures Window, the Z-Bend Gorge, wildflowers and optional abseiling.
Another particularly scenic and well-visited tourist attraction is the The Australian Parrot Breeding Centre also known as the Rainbow Jungle, located just a few kilometres south of the Kalbarri town-centre.
